Hudson Yards

The Hudson Yards is a 26-acre site on the west side of Manhattan bordered by West 30rd Street on the south, West 33rd Street on the north, 10th Avenue of the east, and 12th Avenue on the west. It is one of the last undeveloped properties in Manhattan, and the owner of the land, the MTA, is soliciting proposals to develop the site. Developers would build a platform over the existing rail yards, which would remain in operation during and after the construction. The RFP splits the site into two 13-acre sites, leaving open the ability for the MTA to sell the rights to two developers instead of one.

Five teams responded to the RFP in November, and the proposals were displayed at Grand Central for public comment.
